The Scope

The purpose of this position is to identify potential customers and be responsible for the whole sales cycle (Lead generation, qualification, survey, proposal generation, presentation and closing) for provision of Electronic Security Services in a manner consistent with the company’s Solutions, policies, procedures, quality, standards and customer needs.

 Job Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new clients to create new market share
  • Make sales presentations to potential customers in line with WS Insight’s solutions, policies, procedures, quality and standards
  • Close sales and offer exceptional customer service and follow-up
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Establish and develop mutually beneficial relationships with existing clients to obtain referrals to develop into new sales
  • Inspect and review physical premises and recommend security systems tailored to each customer’s needs
  • Prepare proposal documents according to guidelines
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge base of services, and customer needs through training and research
  • Attend events as needed to promote services
  • Promote a positive company image at all times
  • Keep accurate records, report sales activity and results accurately
  • Follow up on all leads, inquiries, complaints in a timely manner
  • Punctual in keeping appointments with customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or engineering with proven Sales or Pre-Sales experience – Education might be substituted for experience in the technical solutions sales sector
  • High energy and a desire to grow
  • Ability to generate leads and execute on potential new opportunities
  • Should have minimum proven work experience of 3 years in a similar working environment
  • Outgoing, self-motivated individual with strong organization and time management skills
  • Technical Pre – Sales experience will be an added advantage
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft programs
