The ideal candidate must have 5 years’ experience in overall maintenance of the hotel (mechanical, electrical & plumbing).

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management
  • Implementing departmental Standard Operating Procedures
  • Implementing and managing preventative and corrective maintenance programs
  • Preparing proper departmental analysis reports for the senior management
  • Managing Fire and Safety procedures / equipment
  • Managing the power Back-up System & Repairing any electricity and light failures
  • Undertaking HVAC (Heating, ventilating and air conditioning) checks
  • Maintaining all Lifts in partnership with suppliers
  • Maintaining / repairing swimming pool
  • Maintaining PABX, Telephone, Internet, Wi-Fi systems
  • Maintenance of laundry machines, kitchen equipment and other electronics

Qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years’ maintenance experience and 3 years supervisory or manager experience in hotel / building management engineering department.
  • Familiarity with electrical & mechanical systems, tools, equipment, codes and safety procedures
  • First Aid Training and Emergency Response Training would be an added advantage
  • Familiar with CAD (computer-aided design) and office software.
