They provide genuinely stunning wildlife and wilderness experiences, engaging in the original spirit and essence of ‘safari’: an abundance of wildlife, a guarantee of privacy, and the highest standards of professional guiding, in a luxurious and authentic safari environment. They are currently looking for a Fly Camp Manager
Manage, supervise and coordinate all camp activities to include maintenance, general upkeep, and budgetary requirements.
Manage and keep track of all camping gear and other equipment.
Ensuring that all inventory is correctly managed, maintained, stored and recorded before and after every trip.
Camp management; be the main point of contact for the ground staff and ensure the smooth running of the camp.
Ensuring that all equipment is correctly loaded for transport before a trip
Management of full fly camp from start to completion
Finalizing supplier guidelines and protocols before a trip Liaising with clients and suppliers at the camp
Establish, develop and maintain positive business relationships with key partners
Working closely with the sales team to ensure trips are correctly sold and booked to minimize customer dissatisfaction.
Stock control / organization of cleaning and other material relevant to campsite
Assisting in development of a long term plan for the campsite
Have fun in the camp with your colleagues!
Degree in logistics, management or travel industry
5 years’ Experience in logistics, management or travel industry is an added advantage
A problem solver who is quick to act and resolve any type of problem within a short period of time (the attitude of a fixer)
Willing to go above and beyond to ensure client satisfaction.
Excellent written and verbal communication
A team player who loves to collaborate with peers to improve processes while having fun along the way
Willing to be flexible in working times
Organized and able to make decisions quickly and effectively
Able to travel when necessary to meet with clients and/or suppliers
