Our client is looking to employ an organized, enthusiastic and committed person to manage the day to day running of their country club. This person should have good communication skills, like working with people and have experience in managing staff. This is a ‘front of house’ role and requires flexibility of working hours as some work in the evenings may be required.
The Club is committed to its future development and the Club Manger will work alongside the Club Committee - giving recommendations for the efficient management of the club and improvement of the facilities. They will facilitate the smooth running of all events that take place at the club.
The efficient provision of the bar and catering facilities. This includes effective stock control and replenishment of both the bar and the kitchen.
Staff Management – currently four daytime staff plus night askaris
Providing direction and training to the club kitchen / dining staff with the aim of improving the kitchen efficiency, improving hygiene and health & safety
Managing all bookings for the club rooms.
Club Tenant liaison and maintenance of the cottages.
Ensuring the cleanliness, upkeep and maintenance of all club facilities. Oversee running repairs, ensure the gardens are kept in an orderly state and that the facilities are prepared and ready for any event/fitness classes etc
Collating all Club Chits (both food & beverage) according to the Club Treasurers requirements
Being active on social media (facebook & whatsapp) – encouraging member’s attendance to all events (eg. Sending out of lunch & supper menus, reminders about club tennis, golfing events and so forth)
Club Rota – sending out of reminders to members listed for food & bar duty.
